Kolea started this firm in 1985 because she loved fine art and enjoyed doing business. Prior to that, she took her degree in Commercial and Advertising Art to Seattle where she worked for three years as an agency Art Director. With her experience as an art director and her expertise in the nuances of licensing art, Kolea now runs a highly regarded art rep agency that serves clients in all industries around the world.

Kolea restricts the number of artists she represents, hand-picking each one for talent, professionalism and attitude, so she can concentrate on nurturing close relationships between artist and client.

Kolea has served on the Board of the Seattle Design Association and the Executive Board of the Society of Photographers and Artists Representatives. Kolea was co-founder, an executive board member and Secretary Treasurer of The Illustration Conference. She is a member of the Graphic Artist Guild.
